SD-Video (CPRM Optional)

Standards Make Video More Portable

SD-Video specifies the audio and video codecs and file format that allows users to view video on a multitude of consumer electronics built to SD standards. Unlike SD-Audio, use of CPRM is optional. Users can even record digital broadcasts onto their mobile phones and other devices.

SD-Video supports a myriad of formats, including MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264 and VC-1.
